Plant studies
Went to one of Eric Peris‘ exhibition that featured his plant studies. Close-up shots of plants, hand painted B&W silver prints. Pretty amazing and inspiring.
You may see simplicity in some of his works. When someone say “Ya… simple what, I can also do that.” In that case, he would probably reply “It is simple, but I took the effort to make that piece and you didn’t.”
Inspired, I took the effort to shoot the B&W pandan and papaya leaves on my balcony (easy with my digi cam). I don’t have a dark room, so I did the hand painting and all with photoshop. Hope you like these.
