Delay No More!
“Delay No More!” This phrase works well when you are in places where many speak Cantonese. When you are caught in situations that piss you off, such as:
- The taxi driver refuse to take you and the fler give you crappy reasons.
- When someone step on your shoe, it is not your fault and the fler refuse to apologise.
- The pasar malam stall fler is very rude to you.
There are many more situations similar to the above and you can absolutely use this phrase with no qualm. To make sure your target audience know what you are saying, it is better that you raise your voice and pretend that you are Mr Smith (史密夫先生) from England in those Hong Kong TVB series. Some times it works better if you add a “la” or “ler” sound at the end of the phrase.
There is an old fler in a small island who like to sue people till they drop. So if you don’t like him, you can also say “Delay no more ler!” to the fler. Ok. One more time… “Delay no more ler!”.
Apparently, there is another bunch of flers here also learnt the trick recently. They are also trying to sue somebody till they drop. So if you are beh song with those flers you can also say:
Delay No More!
