这是马可不是波罗告诉我他的女儿的名字时的反应。再问多一次时，才发现原来是王晴韵。我还以为马可X波罗爱 Faye Wong 爱到发烧。原来是我这位 uncle 老了撞聋听错了。哎！
马可X波罗的女儿已经有两个多月了。满月时没去看她，今晚趁有时间，晚餐后去探望王氏小家庭，与马可X波罗和太太谈天。反正顾 BB 也没觉好睡，结果一谈就谈到凌晨一点。除了照顾 BB 的甜酸苦乐之外，马可X波罗也 complain 这里的生活水准越来越不像话了。他曾经在美国和新加坡工作，后来返国结婚生子，发现这里的东西都比较 “贵” 了。他在新国的工资和在本地的 “数目” 差不多，但 “价值” 就大有不同。他在新国时 join 的潜水课程是新币四百，回来变了一千块钱。难怪他会大吐苦水。
今晚我终于有机会把那本在菲立宾买的 Baby Owner’s Manual 送给马可X波罗了。看到他边读边笑，就知道他喜欢那本书了。很高兴能够找到一本轻松又实用的书本给他。嘻嘻。
