One last good bye…

koula koumis

Remember the “Like a Star” MP3 and video that we made for paying tribute to human rights defenders? I never expected that I would have to use it again for Koula.

Went to Koula’s departure service last night. Closed to a hundred lives that she touched turned up at the simple ceremony at the University Hospital. I cried, tears just poured like rain. I really cannot handle death well. Thanks Chin Huat and Politikus for their hugs when I needed it.

Recorded and mixed a MP3 on Smoothriver Podcast after the service last night. A farewell gift to our darling, Koula Koumis. The sunshine girl from London. Politikus is right. We shall honour the dead by living. Let’s not disappoint Koula.

Fellow friends who blogged about this: Queen, Mr J, Politikus, Nat and Twilight.
