Next Stop, Davao.
KLIA WiFi Sucks… that’s a fact. Changi Airport is still great.
I stranded in Woodlands after the last MRT and I have to thank Gan who saved me from sleeping on the streets of Woodlands (it was a 10-hr transit for my next flight) when my friend, who offered his house to spend a night, sent her mother to the hospital for a medical emergency and left his phone.
The MRT is so convenient and cheap for long distances, something that the KL public transport operators should learn. But I have to say the new ticketing machines are a bit difficult to use for first timers, still like the old machine more. From Woodlands to Changi Airport… S$1.90. Try to use the train services (note the word is in plural form) to KLIA from the outskirt of KL and see how much it will cost.
Silk Air girls are still chun-er than AirAsia ones. No offence, my dear AirAsia supporters. It’s just another fact that Silk Air has better uniforms and their girls know how not to overkill with their make-ups. And most importantly, they smiled a lot.
3 hours and 25 minutes later, the head of the Silk Air girls said Mubahay over the PA system! The officers at the Davao airport were even friendlier than the Changi ones.
Dear Claire… such a nice host. Davao is laid back and yet we could find nice coffee hangouts (minus the big coffee chains) and great pubs with live music (with people who can really sing). I love San Miguel. Red Horse is not bad too.
Today, we are prepping for the photo safari trips. We are going to visit an organic farm tomorrow… more to come. Cheers!
