Hello, my name is Fanny. When I was four years old, my mother sent me to a special school. She always said that I am a special child. Her angel from heaven. Me being a special kid was permanently confirmed when my teacher also told me that I am a very special kid.

When I was five, my dad gave me a Walkman for Christmas. I picked up singing almost instantly when he put on the Barney sing-along tape. Since then, I’d never left my walkman alone. I have the ability to sing it all out and loud. I have talent. My teacher said so. She said I sing like an angel. When my teacher said that… I knew that I am really the angle of music. Like my mother said, I’m godsent from the heavens.

I sang in the school. I sang in the school bus. I sang in the school toilet. I sang everywhere I went. I am the angel of music. I was the most special one among the special children in the special school.

I had my first boyfriend when I was eight. His name was Ken. My dad brought him back on the night of my birthday. Ken and I blew out the candles together after my parents and I sang the Birthday song. It was such a wonderful night with Ken. He had a sweet voice and his eyes were captivating.

Mum said boys and girls should not sleep together. So I would sing and play with Ken after school and I would just send Ken home at night. I swear we never had anything special until…
